life ends strangely
full of surprises just like war
Ducking and rolling and ducking again


out of the path of death

the gas pouring in

and burning my skin

it left scars and disease
but nothing eternal

im hit, in hit!
writhing in pain
and blood dripping all over my face
i could not let go

but then again, life ends strangely


But i did not die
i held on with a strand of life
the pain to endure
i was not sure

soldiers screamed, soldiers fell

i did not know if i was alive
i could barely think
but that was alright

that was it!
i picked up a gun and fired
my aim was true but so was his
